MORE than 150 young people turned out at an event to find out more about North Ayrshire Council’s Modern Apprenticeships.
Staff from across the council hosted a Modern Apprenticeship recruitment event on Wednesday, March 27 at Saltcoats Town Hall.
On the day, a variety of council services, from procurement to housing and professional cookery to early years and childcare, showcased their services to 16-19 year olds.
The event forms part of the council’s approach to offer as many positive employment opportunities as possible to our young people, to support them in the step from education to employment.
