A proposal by Scottish Labour to extend the provision of free bus travel to under 25s has been welcomed by Neil Bibby, MSP for West Scotland, and members of Cunninghame North Labour Party.
The announcement was made by Scottish Labour leader, Richard Leonard, at the party’s conference in Dundee.
Scott Wilson, secretary of Cunninghame North Labour, said: “Too many young people when they go to work or college face using an overpriced and intermittent bus service or driving.”
