Staff at a popular Ardrossan restaurant and hotel will climb Goatfell for charity today.
Workers at the Lauriston along with their relatives and regulars will attempt to reach the summit of the 874-metre mountain.
The group are aiming to raise £1000 for the Beatson charity which supports people affected by cancer.
Vari Hood, who works at the Lauriston, said: “We wanted to climb Goatfell and then had a look at some charities to raise money for.
“We decided to support the Beatson as some staff have relatives who have been treated there and I also know people affected.”
