A Beith schoolgirl has raised over £400 by having her hair cut to donate to the Little Princess Trust.
Holly McKay, eight, had more than 12 inches chopped off her locks at Envy Hairdressing in Beith.
When asked why she went for the chop, Holly said: “Because I’m a kind person.”
Mum Claire added: “We’re over the moon with the amount she’s managed to raise. She’s going to earn her Brownies charity badge, so she’s chuffed at that.”
