A man was rescued by firefighters after falling at Lynn Glen in Dalry.
Police and air ambulance were also in attendance following the incident on Monday evening.
It is understood that the man was not seriously injured.
A spokesman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was requested at 5.21pm on Monday, April 22 to assist our emergency service colleagues in Dalry.
“Operations Control mobilised a number of fire engines to the scene, at Craig Mill, where firefighters assisted a man who had fallen to safety.
“The casualty was thereafter transferred to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by air ambulance for assessment.”
