A pensioner who took ill on the way to Goatfell was rescued Arran Mountain Rescue Team.
The team was called out at around 12.45pm on Friday, April 19 to assist a 72-year-old woman having a medical emergency on the high Corrie path to Goatfell.
Rescue 199 was also tasked and arrived on scene approximately 10 minutes after the mountain rescue team.
A spokesperson for the MRT said: “The casualty was treated, transferred to our stretcher then transported by Rescue 199 to Crosshouse for further treatment.
“We wish the casualty a speedy recovery and thanks to everyone for their help.”
