The tradition of families gathering on the Castle Hill to roll eggs was maintained on the sunniest Easter Sunday for years.
Two hundred and thirty-nine people visited the castle and 98 children received free Creme Eggs for their participation in the Society’s Easter gemstone hunt.
The eggs were kindly donated by Ewan McLaughlin, of the Albion Bar in Saltcoats.
Ardrossan Castle Heritage Society are delighted with the fantastic response to the tours they put on to share their growing knowledge about Ardrossan Castle and those who lived there.
