The Royal Party for the 2019 Beith St Inans Gala Day has been selected.

Megan Anderson from Garnock Community Campus will be crowned St Inans Day Queen at the event on Saturday, June 15.

Megan’s attendants are Serena Morris from St Bridget’s Primary and Chloe Slattery from Beith Primary. Sophia Graham from Beith Primary is the flower girl.

Helen McNaughton, chairperson of Beith and District Community Council, said: “A big thank you to our judges, Audrey Sutton and Andrea Clarkson for their due diligence in their selection – it was not an easy task, but they got there in the end.

“Thank you to all the applicants and we hope that you will apply next year. Thank you to Fiona Donnelly for compering and asking the applicants the questions.

“The Royal Party are looking forward to riding in the horse and carriage and leading the parade which leaves Beith Community Centre at 12pm to make its way to the school.

“The event is shaping up nicely with live bands on stage, various craft stalls, children’s races, fun fare rides, face painting and much more.”
