Beith Guides raise £500 for disabled riders in Kilwinning
BEITH Girl Guides raised £500 for a Kilwinning charity with a fundraising Zumba session.
The Guides and Rose Brown, chairperson of Beith Trefoil Guild and county vice president, presented a cheque to Christine Wright of the Riding for the Disabled Association’s (RDA) Winton branch.
A spokeswoman from the Guides said: “The Guides chose to raise money for the RDA as this was the UK wide charity selected by the Trefoil Guild as they celebrated their 75th Anniversary last year.
“The RDA Winton group supports disabled children in North Ayrshire and is entirely run by volunteers.”
