ON Saturday, April 27, President Isabel Logue welcomed everyone to Beith Bowling Club for the Ladies Opening Day.
She then asked Vice President Mary McPhail and the committee members to join her on the green alongside President Derek Logue and I.P.P. Warnock Longridge.
Before starting proceedings Isabel asked the members to observe a minute’s silence for members no longer with us. The jack was then thrown by the president to open the season.
Although the weather was not as good as the gents opening the previous week, the ladies made the most of it and had a great day of bowling. First toucher was by Sadie McFadzean.
After the meal Vice President Mary McPhail gave a comprehensive vote of thanks to everyone who made the day such a success.
