Owners of a Saltcoats restaurant have slashed its price by almost £200,000 after it failed to attract a buyer.
The Herald reported in December that the Corran Inn on Jack’s Road was up for sale on Colliers International, with offers in the region of £495,000.
Colliers has recently reduced the price though and is now inviting offers of £325,000 –£170,000 less than the original price.
The bar restaurant, which underwent significant refurbishment in 2009, closed in August last year. It was previously known as Harry Flashmans and before that, the Aberlour.
The detached corner property is internally split to provide two trading areas with a central kitchen core. It boasts a main bar restaurant with timber servery and mirrored gantry, open-hatch large commercial kitchen, customer toilets, beer cellar, beer garden, car park, and a smaller function room/lounge with its own kitchen and beer cellar.
