A local bakery is giving back to the community as part of a national charity week.
The Kandy bar, which has stores in Saltcoats, Kilwinning and West Kilbride, is currently celebrating National Doughnut Week by donating a share of every doughnut sold to a children’s charity.
For every doughnut sold this week, The Kandy Bar is donating 10p to The Children’s Trust.
Stephen McAllister, owner of The Kandy Bar, said: "The Kandy Bar bakery in Saltcoats, West Kilbride and Kilwinning are participating in National Doughnut Week. We have an array of delicious doughnuts and will be donating to the Children's Trust charity."
National Doughnut Week runs from May 11-18 and calls on bakers all over the UK to raise funds for The Children’s Trust through the sale of their doughnuts.
The Children’s Trust provides rehabilitation to children and young people with acquired brain injury.
