THE Scottish SPCA are appealing to residents to help at a Summer fundraising drive to raise vital funds for abused, abandoned and injured animals in their care.
They are looking for anyone who can spare even an hour of their time to volunteer at the Kilmarnock Pets at Home store.
Scottish SPCA Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre superintendent, Sharon Comrie, said, “From the May 17 to June 13, locals can pop down to their local Pets at Home store where they will get the chance to meet Scottish SPCA supporters, staff members and dogs from the Scottish SPCA’s animal rescue and rehoming centres.
“We are encouraging the public to get into the fundraising spirit by dressing up in fancy dress, taking a four legged friend along or bringing some baked goodies.”
