A INVESTIGATION is underway in Dalry after police 'removed a number of items' from a property in the town.
On Monday night, officers swooped on the house in Templand Road and it is believed that they were there for much of the day on Tuesday as well.
Police would not confirm the items that had been removed but sources told the Herald that it was a large cannabis cultivation within the property.
A skip was delivered to the house to store the items, believed to be plants and other paraphernalia.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We can confirm that officers attended a property in Templand Road, Dalry about 2150 hours on 27th May 2019 where a number of items were removed and enquiries are ongoing."
