The Ayrshire Community Trust (TACT) are looking for telephone befrienders to help out at the HOPE Project Office in Stevenston.
They are looking for people who like a good chat, are able to encourage and stimulate an older person to express themselves and feel comfortable engaging in conversation and inspiring enough confidence further down the line to allow for attendance at a social activity.
If you like the idea of working alongside older individuals and would enjoy this telephone service, then this is the right opportunity for you.
The role takes place at the HOPE Project Office in Stevenston, North Ayrshire.
