The rain failed to dampen spirits at the weekend’s Beith St Inans Gala.
Families came from near and far to this year’s fete on Saturday, June 15 and enjoyed a range of entertainments.
Councillor Donald L Reid said: “Thanks to all the fantastic volunteers who made this happen and thanks to all the staff holders and indeed everyone who contributed in any way to the success of this event, despite the weather not being on best behaviour. Congratulations to the Royal Party and I hope they had a fantastic day which they will proudly tell their grandchildren about in the future.”
A spokesperson from Beith and District Community Council thanked all who took part in the parade and fete and everyone who came along, adding: “The day could not have gone ahead without you all.”
