There are now 90 confirmed coronavirus cases across Ayrshire, a rise of 15 overnight.
Seven more deaths were confirmed in Scotland overnight bringing the total number up to 40, with more than 1,000 coronavirus-linked fatal tragedies throughout the UK.
Positive cases in Scotland increased to 1,245 from 1,059 in 24 hours.
The specific location of patients is not revealed due to reasons of confidentiality.
Chief Medical Officer Catherine Calderwood said the official estimate is there could be 65,000 people in Scotland who are infected.
She said: "The virus is out there you do not know who has got it, so stay away from as many people as possible."
