A man was found dead outside Saltcoats Police Office this morning.
The 50-year-old was found outside the police station which is situated on Glencairn Street and Raise Street.
Officers were observed in Barnett Crescent at the rear of the station.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 9.30 am on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, a 50-year-old man was found dead outside Saltcoats Police Office, Glencairn Street, Saltcoats.
“A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death which police are not treating as suspicious at this time.
“A report will be sent to the PF.”
