Marion, her husband and the rest of the family feel greatly rewarded from such breaks and have many happy memories and say “sometimes laughter can bring a better feel good factor better than medicine”.

They continued: “We were so very fortunate that we were able to fund our breaks away, but many people are not – cancer often brings financial hardship.”

The charity has the full support of local the venues: the Seamill Hydro Hotel/Resort in Seamill, the Piperdam Leisure Resort in Dundee and the Auchrannie Resort in Arran.
The event itself will feature all the typical fun of an ‘it’s a knockout’ event, with teams competing across an inflatable obstacle course.

Teams will be competing in fancy dress, with a little bit of soapy water added just to making things more challenging!

As well as the obstacle course, face painting, hot and cold snack and ice cream stalls will also be present.

There will also be a kids fun zone, at a cost of £10 for a wristband for a full day of play.
