This week's look through the Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald files takes us back 10 years to October 2013.
Who can you spot in these photos?
Saltcoats man Andrew MacDougall won Cunninghame Housing Association’s award for the best garden. He was presented with his award from ChA Property Services manager Karen Agnew (far left) and CHA board members (L to R) Helen Neill, Janet Strang, and Maureen Whitelaw.
Hayocks Primary School in Stevenston held a World’s Biggest Coffee morning, raising a magnificent £520. A cheque for the sum was presented at the school’s Harvest Assembly by teacher Christine Robertson (left) to Macmillan volunteer Valerie Brown.
The Kilbirnie Golf Club ladies section captain Jean Gillan (pictured) presented Bill and Moira Haining from Beith Cancer Support group with a cheque for £533 in October 2013 which was raised throughout the year from open competition raffles. On the same day the ladies raised over £160 for Breast Cancer on Pink Day.
A West Kilbride athlete wasn’t far behind winning Ethiopian marathon superstar Haile Gebrselassie in the Great Scottish Run in 2013 - coming home in 24th place out of a field of 25,000. Billy Richardson was also placed fourth in the veteran category.
Finally, the Herald photographer paid a visit to Stanley Primary in Ardrossan to take these pictures of the Primary 1 classes in 2013.
