A WOMAN had to be taken to hospital in Glasgow following a reported break-in at a home in Stevenston in the early hours of this morning.
Police Scotland say they are now conducting enquiries following the alleged incident on Arthur Street in the town on Wednesday, October 18.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.05am on Wednesday, 18 October, 2023, police received a report of a break-in at an address on Arthur Street, Stevenston.
“Officers attended and a 30-year-old woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
