This week we're looking back at some of the festive season fun in North Ayrshire from 10 years ago.
Who can you spot in these Herald photos from December 2013?
Beith Primary School’s annual Christmas fayre raised over £1,000 in 2013. The fayre, which had become a Beith Primary tradition raised money for the school and the children’s chosen charity, Yorkhill hospital.

Friends and customers of Charlie’s Bar in Ardrossan raised £5,120 for children’s cancer charities in 2013. The events, including cycling, a 10k run and a charity fun day with barbeque at the pub, prompted generous participants to donate big. The money was split between CLIC Sargent and the Neuroblastoma Alliance.

Pupils from St Winning’s Primary School in Kilwinning got to meet Father Christmas himself at the traditional ‘Santa Walk’ in 2013. Youngsters and staff walked down to Kilwinning Sports Club, singing Christmas songs on the way.

Morrison Construction, who were developing the new Ardrossan Medical Centre in 2013, gave the town’s Christmas lights fund a boost with a £200 donation. Project Manager Allan Lyttle handed over the cheque to Tom Armstrong, the chair of the Ardrossan Christmas Lights committee.

Auchenharvie Ice Dance & Figure Skating Club held their Christmas Party on Ice on Saturday, December 14, 2013.

St Luke’s Primary 1, 2 and 3 wowed Kilwinning audiences with their fabulous performance of the Hopeless Camel just before Christmas 2013.
