POLICE Scotland have provided an update on their investigation into the death of Alan Lawson.
The 36-year-old died in hospital on Tuesday, February 6.
Jordan Honeyman, 29, appeared in private at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Tuesday, February 20 charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
He was committed for further examination and will make a further appearance in court later this month.
Police previously said a 29-year-old man had been arrested in connection with Alan's death.
Police Scotland said one arrest had been made as part of their investigation and that their enquiries remained ongoing.
