A POPULAR Dalry doctor is set to leave the town's medical centre.
It comes as the practice team confirmed that Dr Caitriana Park would be retiring at the end of March.
Dr Park has been a popular figure since joining the Dalry team back in 2012 alongside doctors Michael Perman, Iain Colburn and Carlyn Wallis.
Well respected in the town, Dr Park has been qualified in the professional for over three decades.
The Dalry Health Centre team paid tribute to the soon-to-be departing member of staff when the announced she would be leaving earlier this week.
They said: "We know she will be missed by many and whilst we won’t pretend it will be the same without her, we know that she, and the other retired partners, have set the practice up to continue as we always have done, which is putting our patients first.
"We wish Dr Park a well deserved, long, happy and healthy retirement and thank her for all that she has done for the practice over the years."
Many locals also moved to wish Dr Park well as she is set to leave her role in Dalry.
One person commented: "Wishing Dr Park a very happy and long retirement and she and her smile will be missed."
While another added: "Have a very happy retirement. You will be missed by many. Always so helpful, cheery and thoughtful "
