A NEW business is nearly ready to open its doors in Saltcoats.
It comes as The Kids Village set a cautious date for their grand opening.
Work has been well underway for a number of months with plenty of families excited for what the facility will have to offer.
Located on Chapelwell Street inside the former RBS building, The Kids Village will be offering "imaginative kids play" for youngsters across the local area.
Earlier this month the business gave an early look inside after locals spotted their colourful new signage being erected at the building.

The team behind the project also shared images of stunning artwork inside the premises - though at this time were unable to give a date for opening.
Though that changed this week when they announced when The Kids Village will be welcoming families for the first time.
The team have set the date for Wednesday, March 6, with "fingers crossed" no delays are experienced before then.
A post on social media explained: "Thank you all for your patience, support and kind words so far! Things in our world are hectic at the moment trying to get this place ready to share with you all!
"We’re so excited to open our doors for you, and are aiming for that to be on March 6 - fingers crossed we don’t have any delays."
Despite website maintenance taking place earlier in the week it appears that bookings can now be made online for "play sessions" at The Kids Village. These can be made online at thekidsvillage.co.uk/.
The team also say that the facility will be open for big groups, with party brochures now available for those wishing to make an enquiry. Brochures can be requested by emailing help@thekidsvillage.co.uk.
While the business are aiming to be inclusive for all with ASN sessions set to be available once open.
