Dalry Primary's P7 class are off to spend a week at the Arran Outdoor Centre - thanks to generous funding from the town's Parish Boundary Trust.
The Trust fully funded the trip for the pupils with a grant of £10,000.
Dalry Parish Boundary Trust was set up in 2014 to distribute Community Benefit , initially £120,000 annually from Community Windpower Ltd Millour Hill and Millour Hill extension wind farms. That has now risen to £129,750.
A Trust spokesperson said: "This is a great adventure for the children and for many will be their first time away from their families alone.
"Once again Dalry Parish Boundary Trust are pleased to announce that during this time when money is short due to high energy cost and price rises in general that the trip has been fully funded with a grant of £10,000."
Pictured above with the children are three trustees of the DPBT - vice chair Emily Shedden, secretary John Smith and Pete Bousted, the last better known to children and adults in the town as Ranger Pete.
