The final push for points has started as an active travel game taking place across the Three Towns, the Garnock Valley and Arran draws to a close.
From now until the end of the Beat the Street game on Wednesday, March 27, it's Go Celebrate week, where every Beat Box in the game will be giving out double points.
At 7pm on the last day, the leaderboards will be taken down and the winners announced shortly after the competition.
More than 10,300 people have signed up and have together walked, cycled, wheeled, run and scooted an incredible 113,000 miles so far in the competition, which is taking place in parts of North Ayrshire and Argyll.
Currently, Stanley Primary School are top of the total points leaderboard, with Dunoon Primary School and St Anthony’s Primary School in second and third place.
On the average points leaderboard, the Isle of Bute Home Educators are in first place, with Drumlemble Primary School in second and Arran's Shiskine Primary in third.
Beat the Street Active Nation is delivered by Intelligent Health in partnership with North Ayrshire Council, and Argyll and Bute Council. It is funded by Paths for All's Active Nation Fund.
Councillor Tony Gurney, North Ayrshire Council cabinet member for green environment and economy, said: “The game really has created a buzz and it has been fantastic to see everyone choosing to walk or cycle those shorter, everyday journeys.
"The Beat the Street game itself is just the start though – when the game comes to an end, we’ll then continue to work with the local community to ensure that these healthy lifestyle habits are put into action.
"Scotland has ambitious plans to reduce carbon emissions by 2030 and this has been a positive step forward in this vision.
“It’s been such an incredible six weeks. Now, we look forward to the next phase which is where we build on this motivation and momentum to work with local stakeholders and community groups to ensure that we continue to move every day and to make active travel the norm.”
The winners will be available at www.beatthestreet.me/activenation and on social media at @BTSActiveNation.
