Ferry crossings between Ardrossan and Arran have been cancelled for today - and the outlook isn't looking too bright for tomorrow (Saturday).
Poor weather and high winds led ferry operators CalMac to cancel Friday's earliest sailings.
But the company have now confirmed all today's sailings between Ardrossan and Brodick are cancelled - and all sailings up to Saturday afternoon.
CalMac also warned that forecasts for Saturday remained poor, weith a review of the service tset to take place early tomorrow afternoon."
The company confirmed on their website: "Due to no improvement in the weather forecast, this service is cancelled for the rest of the day.
"Due to a forecast of severe weather, the following sailings on Saturday, March 23 are now cancelled: Depart Ardrossan 7am, 9.45am, and 12.30pm and depart Brodick 8.20am and 11.05am."
CalMac added: "There will be a review at approximately 1pm on Saturday, however it should be noted that forecasts remain very poor."
