CalMac have confirmed that the rest of today's ferry sailings between Ardrossan and Arran have been cancelled due to the weather.
The company revealed after a review that the MV Isle of Arran service departing Brodick at 4.40pm and 7.20pm and the sailing from Ardrossan at 6pm, have fallen foul of stronger than forecast winds.
Tomorrow, Thursday, April, 11, the 7am sailing from Ardrossan has also been cancelled due to the ferry berthing overnight at Brodick.
Normal service is expected to resume with the 8.20am sailing from Arran.
A CalMac spokesperson said: "We’ll keep customers informed should there be any further changes in connection to this route.
