THE Three Towns Medical Practice have made an adjustment to their appointment booking process.
Those who are registered at the Stevenston practice, which is operated by the Ayrshire Medical Group, will no longer be able to make appointments on site with reception staff.
The decision has been made following an increase in cases of patients abusing staff at the Main Street practice, according to bosses.
Patients were informed of the change, which has come into effect immediately on Thursday April 11, via a text from the practice.
It said: "Due to the increasing numbers of patients being abusive to our staff the practice admin staff will no longer be dealing with appointment requests at reception.
"All appointment requests must be made via telephone - 01294 464141."
