VENUES across North Ayrshire will have their sights set on winning big at the Scottish Curry Awards.
Seven different restaurants and takeaways have been nominated for the top award recognition across various categories.
Businesses earned their place on the shortlist following a customer nomination process and award organisers carrying out due diligence checks.
All businesses must have been trading for a minimum of 12 months to be eligible for the awards.
Those vying for success will discover if they are victorious on Monday, April 15, when the awards grand finals are held at the DoubleTree Hilton in Glasgow.
One of the familiar faces looking for award success, to add to the plethora of recognition they have received in the past, is the Motherland Spice in Saltcoats.
The Bradshaw Street venue has earned nominations across two categories.
The popular Indian and Nepalese restaurant and takeaway is hoping to be named Curry Restaurant of the Year for the South West and the Best of Ayrshire on Monday.
Another venue with multiple nominations, and another that is no stranger to awards ceremonies, is Zains Curry House in Dalry.
The New Street business is vying for top spot in both the South West Takeaway of the Year and Outstanding Indian Takeaway of the Year categories.
A new name on the list of North Ayrshire nominees is the Curry on the Corner restaurant in Saltcoats.
The venue only opened on Jack's Road in late 2021 and is now aiming to be crowned the Most Wanted Indian Restaurant of the Year.
Another two Three Towns businesses will also be heading to the awards.
Stevenston takeaway Madras Curry House has been given the nod in the Outstanding Indian Takeaway of the Year category and will be looking to stave off competition including fellow North Ayrshire venue Zains.
The other comes in the form of Ardrossan based takeaway and restaurant Jaipur.
The Glasgow Street venue is one of six finalists in the Best of Ayrshire category.
Three North Ayrshire venues are vying for success in this category, with Lawthorn Farm in Irvine joining Jaipur and the Motherland Spice in the quest for success.
Completing the list of nominees from the county is the Torranyard Tandoori in Kilwinning.
Located on the town's Lochlibo Road, the business is the only local nominee in the Outstanding Indian Restaurant of the Year.
To see if the businesses can go one step further and claim the top prize, results will be made available on the Scottish Curry Awards Facebook page.
