TWO men were hit by cars in the Garnock Valley within a 24-hour spell over the weekend.
A pair of incidents in Beith and Kilbirnie were reported to police on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5.
Police say they have no information to suggest the two incidents are linked.
The first collision took place on Beith's Park Avenue where police say a man was "struck by a vehicle".
They say that no complaint has been made as a result of this, with no crime established at present, though enquiries remain ongoing.

“Officers attended to gather more information and establish the circumstances, however no complaint was made and no crime has been established at this time.
"Enquiries continue.”
The second incident saw a 46-year-old man struck by a car in Main Street in Kilbirnie.
In this incident the driver failed to stop, and officers say they are looking to trace both the vehicle and its driver.
