Arran’s Auchrannie Resort and Spa has been named as the best hotel lodge at the prestigious Scottish Hotel Awards 2018.
Hotels, B&Bs, guesthouses, service apartments and lodges from all regions of Scotland were recognised for their excellence at Scotland’s leading and longest established hotel awards.
The esteemed event took place at the Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa in Edinburgh, with 400 members of the hospitality industry in attendance.
The multi-award-winning Auchrannie resort is one of North Ayrshire’s key Team North Ayrshire businesses.
Team North Ayrshire partners, including North Ayrshire Council, congratulated Auchrannie on its accolade.
Councillor Alex Gallagher, Cabinet Member for Economy, said: “On behalf of our Team North Ayrshire partners I would like to congratulate the team at Auchrannie Resort and Spa for this award win.
“I’m delighted to see the resort going from strength-to-strength. Winning this important award sends a message not only to visitors of the resort but to people planning to visit the island that Auchrannie Resort and Spa is recognised for its hospitality excellence in Scotland.”
In recent months, North Ayrshire’s unique business support team has helped the luxury resort with updating its booking systems software, co-ordinating training support with Highlands and Island Enterprise and working with University of West of Scotland and Visit Arran to support Auchrannie’s spring social media campaign.
