Lauren's makeover - week 4

Since I started the Marine Makeover I've been trying to go to the gym four nights a week, when possible.

This week as well as my four workouts I attempted an ab attack class. I've had a bit of a sore neck since I was at school as a result of carrying a school bag that was too heavy on one shoulder - resulting in strained neck muscles. Because of that I've always shied away from stomach exercises because sit ups put pressure on my neck. So I must admit it was with trepidation that I went along for this class.

The good news is that there are loads of exercises to tone the stomach muscles other than sit ups. How silly I've been! I thoroughly enjoyed this class and I will definitely be going back every week. Carole the teacher is fantastic and she had us doing all sorts of weird and wonderful things using stretchy bright pink bands and everything. Oh and the music was fantastic which always helps to zone out the muscle agony... for a while anyway!
