Lauren's makeover - week 3

This week I was signed up for a session with Sadie the personal trainer and what a revelation that was.

It's amazing the things you think you know until you're actually told by a professional. Sadie checked my balance and told me all about core muscles. She also gave me some advice on how to better my balance when doing pilates and similar exercies. Some new exercises using the big ball were added into my programme. Daunting at first because I did think I was going to roll right off but you do get used to it.

We also had a chat about weight loss and Sadie probably gave me the best advice I've ever had... I said I wasn't sure what my ideal weight should be but she told me not to work towards a weight but to work towards a dress size. "We wouldn't be complaining if we were 30 stone but a size eight, would we?" she said. Quite right I think. So that's my new goal.

Sadie also advised that the programme I'm currently on will be okay for another few weeks so I'll be continuing on with that for now.
