Dalry’s ‘Adopt a Station’ volunteers held a ‘Conversation on the Station’ event on Friday, September 18 to highlight what has been achieved over the last year.

They also asked train travellers what other improvements they would like to see at Dalry Station.

The reaction from station users was overwhelmingly positive that the station grounds were looking so much neater and colourful.

They were also interested to learn that a wildflower area and more planters on the platforms were planned for next year.

Many thanks to their supporters, who have contributed seeds and plants from their own gardens.

The consultation was attended by Patricia Gibson MP, councillors Catherine McMillan and Robert Barr, Louis Wall of Adopt-a-Station and Caroline Borwick of Dalry Community Development Hub.
