Dalry’s St Palladius Primary 7 pupil Amy Allan and her classmates organised a fundraising afternoon for Yorkhill Children’s Charity last week.
It’s a charity very close to Amy’s heart as she has
attended the hospital regularly over the years and is currently receiving treatment.
Amy and her parents wanted to thank the staff of the children’s hospital for their care and support by helping raise money to enable them to do this for other families in the future. Amy will present staff at the hospital with the cheque for £320 when she goes for her next visit.
She said: “Thank you to all my friends at St Palladius for supporting me with the fundraising afternoon.”
“Staff at Yorkhill hospital have always supported me and taken care of me.
“They help me to understand what’s happening by explaining it in a way that children can understand.”
