THE last session of the Garnock Valley GP referral group to take place in the current Garnock Swimming Pool was held last week.
A group that has been ongoing since 1999, locals go along to increase exercise and to recover from health ailments and make friends along the way.
Around 20-30 people attend every weekly session and around five have been attending since the group was founded 16 years ago.
Members can be referred by their GP, another health professional or they can be self-referred.
Helping with weight-loss, joint issues and a number of other health issues, the group continues to be popular and will carry-on once the new pool opens in the Garnock Community Campus in the new year.
