POLICE have seized alleged Class A, B and C drugs during a search of a property in Kilbirnie.
Locality policing officers searched a house in Muirend Street under warrant on Tuesday, January 24.
A 36-year-old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Sergeant Graeme Smith, of the Garnock Valley Locality Policing Team, said: “Local residents have identified drug dealing and drug misuse as a priority for policing in the area.
“We continue to work with the community and our partners to tackle issues of local concern.
“Information provided to us by the community helps us to target those involved in both the supply and misuse of controlled drugs.
“I would encourage anyone with information on those involved in crime to contact us or to contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously.”
Police Scotland can be contacted by calling the national non-emergency number 101 (always dial 999 in an emergency).
