VOLUNTEERS are needed for a new community cafe in the Garnock Valley.
Cafe Solace is a project organised by Recovery at Work (RaW) offering a place to purchase a nutritious home cooked meal while providing the opportunity to build social networks in a safe and welcoming environment.
The project already has two very successful cafes in Ardrossan and Irvine where everyone in the community can head along for a great meal at a very reasonable price.
The community cafe for the community will be run by volunteers in recovery – so if you are on your recovery journey, why not consider volunteering at the cafe?
Volunteering offers the opportunity to meet and have the support of others in recovery and have access to training.
For those interested there will be training taking place on March 15, 16, 22 and 23 within the Garnock Valley.
Cafe Solace is at Fullarton Connexions in Irvine every Tuesday from 5-8pm, and The Church of the Nazarene in Ardrossan every Wednesday 5-8pm.
If you are interested in volunteering please contact Steph McCutcheon on 07393314902 or 01294 443004.
