On Thursday, May 11 the Garnock Valley Seniors played Halkshill Seniors.
Beith Bowling Club President Warnock Longridge welcomed the players and after a short speech handed the green over to John Glover to give the format for the day.
Again, the sun was out which helped to make it a great day, the green was full and some very good games of bowling were seen to be played.
At end of play the Halkshill Boys were more points up than Garnock Valley, return leg on June 8 at Largs.
A meal was served to all the players and after some more refreshments the Largs Team left by bus, all fed and well watered.
Thanks to the volunteers behind the bar, Donald and Derek and everybody behind the scenes.
