Dalry teen's hockey cap
A DALRY teenager has been chosen to play for Scotland’s under 17 hockey team.
Zara Mason was the only Ayrshire girl in the squad of players to represent their country.
The 15-year-old is also in the squad that will play England, Wales and Holland.
Every player in the team had to find their own finance.
Zara successfully applied to Dalry Parish Boundary Trust, sponsored by Community Winpower, for a grant towards her expenditure.
