A 43-year-old man who was found with heroin in his Dalry home has been fined £350.
Paul Gorman pled guilty by letter last week to one charge under the Misuse of Drugs Act at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
The court heard that police attended Gorman’s home in Lynn Avenue with a drug search warrant on May 3.
They searched the premises and found a quantity of heroin under a mat in the living room.
The amount found was approximately 1.6grams, which is thought to have an estimated street value of around £60.
