LAST weekend saw another superb day in the heart of the Garnock Valley with over 1,000 people in attendance at Beithfest 2017 - the busiest yet.

The day kicked off with ‘Hingin By A Thread’ setting the very high standard that carried on throughout the day.

Bands such as The Best Bad influence, Laura Burns, Redwood Ridge, Dog, The Blue Lights, Bikini Bottoms, The Stumblers and Start all owned their slots on the stage.

As well as the main stage the acoustic tent was just as lively, with acoustic acts performing throughout the day.

Ewan McCauley, Lara Ashwood, Morven and Doug, Courtney and Rose, Lily Ferguson, Harry Eaglesham and Rachel and Robbie all giving fantastic performances.

The craft beers and ales were also a hit with over 300 gallons of beer poured and drank half way through the day.

Alongside the beers and ales was a new addition to Beithfest - fizzbuz, selling Prosecco and gin a huge hit with both the men and women.

As well as fizzbuz there were also two new food vendors joining the festival. Both Bowl Food and Prague Shack were busy most of the day keeping the customers happy, with superb street food.

Beith Trust would like to thank all staff and Volunteers who help make Beithfest happen.

Also a big thank you to the number of individuals who attended and support Beith Trust and Beithfest.

They hope to see you all again next year for Beith Fest 2018.
