A P1 pupil from St Bridget’s Primary has had his artwork featured in a calendar after winning a drawing competition.
Harlow Reid’s design won NHS Ayrshire and Arran Oral Health Team’s recent competition for local primaries.
The four-year-old’s picture has now been collated into a 2018 calendar, to be distributed to all participating schools.
Suzanne Algeo, Oral Health Improvement Lead, said: “Good oral health is vital to the overall health and wellbeing of children, however we recognise that bringing about long-term improvements requires a real shift in how we work. With this in mind, we are always keen to ensure children are at the centre of our projects – and by providing the artwork for this calendar, children not only learned something new about the importance of taking care of their oral health, they got to share their artistic talents with schools across Ayrshire.”
