MEMBERS of Garnock Valley Disability Forum enjoyed a late ‘Christmas lunch’ recently.
A total of 27 members attended the event in Kilwinning’s Dalgarven House Hotel. Among the guests was Vera Anderson, who recently celebrated her 90th birthday in Beith.
Jean Gilbert, secretary at Garnock Valley Disability Forum, thanked everyone for their attendance and support.
She said: “We had the event at the Dalgarven Hotel and it was lovely. There were 27 members and friends.
“A big thank you to the Dalgarven manager and staff who did their very best for us. The meal was lovely. Thanks also to Milton Coaches and thanks to friends. The food was good and the company was good.”
The group’s next meeting is on Wednesday, February 28 at Bridgend Community Centre at 1.30pm.
Jean added: “We want to invite everybody to come along and see what we do. We will be most welcoming.”
