P6/7 pupils at St Palladius Primary hosted a Burns Supper at their school recently.

The children held the event in the Dalry school’s main hall, where they had P4/5 as their guests.

Pupils in P1-3 held their own smaller Burns Suppers in their classrooms and joined the rest of the school afterwards in the hall to recite Scottish verses.

The haggis was brought in by P7’s Gavin Friel – who did the Toast to the Lassies – and Ross Montgomery of P6.

Liam Hannah from P7 recited the Address to the Haggis and Tamzin McHardy, P7, did the Toast to the Laddies.

Our photographer Charlie Gilmour was there to capture all the fun.
