TEMPORARY SAFETY FOR ADVICE SERVICE

COUNCIL chiefs have confirmed that Citizens Advice Services in Kilbirnie, Arran and Largs will be maintained over the next few months while a wider review of advice services in North Ayrshire takes place.

As we reported earlier this year North Ayrshire Citizens Advice Service (NACAS) had announced their decision to close these offices from June 2012.

In May, North Ayrshire Council agreed, in principle, to offer funding which would allow NACAS to keep these offices open until September.
