THE family of tragic Beith man Lawrence McCall are holding a special memorial night this Saturday to raise funds for an anti-violence charity.

The 22-year-old was killed in a knife attack in 2008 and his sister Lisa has helped to organise a music night on June 15 to raise cash for Medics Against Violence (MAV).

Lisa said: "We just want to send the message out to people that nobody should be out there running around with a knife - all it does it ruin lives".
