ON CHRISTMAS day a man was charged with careless driving after his car collided with a wall at an 'accident blackspot' at Tofts in Dalry.
At about 4.30pm police received reports of a road crash involving one vehicle which collided with a wall. Ambulance crews also attended the scene and one patient was taken to Crosshouse Hospital.
A spokesman for Strathclyde Police said: "Police attended and as a result of enquiries a 42-year-old male has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for the offence of careless driving." For the full story see this week's Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald.
